Sindh government has announced to carry out Covid-19 vaccination drive in all the public and private schools and colleges from 6th of next month.
It was decided in a high-level meeting held in Karachi.
The meeting decided that the health department’s 2,527 teams would participate in the vaccination drive against the Corona pandemic.
In the first phase, the vaccine campaign would commence at the district level which would later be extended to a sub-division level.

The Gilgit Baltistan government has decided to ensure implementation of COVID SOPs strictly to get rid of Coronavirus.
Notification in this regard was issued by Home department Gilgit Baltistan today (Tuesday).
According to notification, there will be ban on business activity in Gilgit and Skardu, two days and in other districts one day in a week.
Business activities will continue in both districts till 8 pm whilst in other districts till 10 pm.
There will be ban on indoor dining while outdoor dining will be allowed till 10 pm.
Fifty percent attendance in offices and fifty percent passengers in public transport would be allowed. The Government also decided to allow vaccinated tourists to GB.

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that it is his mission to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people of Punjab.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Tuesday, he said that Sarwar Foundation has installed two hundred water filtration plants across the province.
He said that water contamination causes serious health problems, particularly for women and children.
The Governor said that philanthropists and non-governmental organizations have played a vibrant role for provision of clean drinking water to the masses.

Punjab Assembly met for the highest number of sittings during the PTI’s third parliamentary year.
According to a comparative assessment of performance of Pakistan’s Provincial Assemblies, Punjab Assembly met 61 times while Sindh Assembly met for 57 times.
The Provincial Assembly for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was ranked on the top when compared with the other Provincial Assemblies in terms of working hours.
