GB government working on restoration of ancient stone carvings in Diamer

The Gilgit Baltistan government is working on restoration of ancient stone carvings in Diamer.

In a statement today, spokesman of Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan said that the repairing work of Historic Chilas fort will be initiated soon.

He said an open air museum and an information desk will be set up in Chilas Fort to facilitate visitors.

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal to establish new Panagahs throughout country

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal is planning to establish new Panagahs (Shelter Homes) throughout the country under the aegis of Ehsaas Programme.

Talking to APP, Managing Director PBM Malik Zaheer Abbas said the expansion plan of the project will be executed on fast track.

He said so far 2.5 million beneficiaries have been provided services in Panagahs providing them meals and shelter.

Malik Zaheer Abbas said this initiative will focus on quality of service delivery to the shelter-less employed persons, by taking care their health and providing them safe and secure living environment with hygienic food etc.

KP Govt to start second shift classes from Wednesday

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is going to start second shift classes from tomorrow (Wednesday) in sixteen districts of the province.

Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Tuesday, Provincial Minister for Education, Shahram Khan Tarakai said initially the second shift classes will be held in one-hundred and twenty schools in these districts and over seven hundred teachers have been inducted for the purpose.

He said stern efforts are afoot to enrol out of school children to ensure that no student should be deprived of education.

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to start second shift classes from tomorrow in sixteen districts of the province.

Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Tuesday, Provincial Minister for Education Shahram Khan Tarakai said initially the second shift classes will be held in one-hundred and twenty schools in these districts.

The minister said the government is recruited more than seven hundred teachers for second shift classes in these schools.

Shahram Khan Tarakai said stern efforts will be made to bring out of school children that no student should be deprived from education.
