APHC pays glowing tributes to martyrs of Gaw Kadal

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Gaw Kadal and reiterated the resolve that sacrifices of Kashmiris would not be let to go waste.

 

In separate statements, APHC leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Zamarooda Habib, Yasmeen Raja and Ferida Bahenji pad rich tributes to the Gaw Kadal massacre victims.

 

They said Kashmiris have been offering unprecedented sacrifices for a great and sacred cause of the right to self-determination.

 

Over 50 people were martyred and hundreds others were injured when Indian troops had opened fire on peaceful protesters in Gaw Kadal area of Srinagar on January 21 in 1990.

IIOJK: APHC calls for shutdown tomorrow to commemorate anniversary of Gawkadal massacre

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for a shutdown in Civil Lines and adjoining areas tomorrow to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of Gawkadal massacre.

 

52 innocent and unarmed civilians were martyred in cold blood and 250 were seriously injured by bullets when Indian forces under a well thought-out plan opened indiscriminate firing on civilians on January 21 in 1990.

Turkish parliamentarians agree to form Kashmir committee

The Turkish parliamentarians have agreed in principle form a Kashmir Committee and present a resolution in favor of Kashmiris in the Turkish Parliament.

 

The announcement in this regard was made today during an extraordinary meeting between Ali Shahin, a member of Turkey’s ruling party and President AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry in Ankara.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Barrister Chaudhry expressed gratitude to the ruling party of Turkey, especially Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for openly supporting the Kashmir cause.

 

He expressed the hope that the Turkish government would further intensify its efforts to raise the voice in favour of the Kashmiri people at every important forum.
