Entire nation united against terrorism: Chairman Senate

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani says the entire nation is united against terrorism and nefarious designs of anti-state elements to impede ongoing progress will never succeed.

Strongly condemning the attack on a police checkpost in Shehbaz Khel area of Lakki Marwat district, he said the sacrifices of security forces for sustainable peace in the country will not go in vain.

Expressing his heartfelt sorrow over the loss of precious life in the attack, the Chairman sympathized with the bereaved family of the martyred constable.

He said such cowardly acts by inimical elements cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and our determination to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

Sadiq Sanjrani said Pakistan is determined to fight terrorism to ensure peace and tranquility in the region.

Nepal envoy, Assistant on Foreign Affairs discuss Pak-Nepal cooperation

Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan Tapas Adhikari called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, they discussed mutual cooperation between the two countries and the evolution of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) as a vibrant organization promoting better understanding among the member states.

PIA introduces package for intending Umrah pilgrims from China

Pakistan International Airlines has introduced a special package to facilitate Pakistani and other Muslims pilgrims who plan to travel from China to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

According to senior official of PIA, under the package, the pilgrims travelling on PIA from Beijing and Chengdu would be provided connecting flights from Islamabad to Saudi Arabia and back.

However, Pakistani passengers could enjoy a stopover of over one week in Pakistan while returning to China.

The national flag carrier is currently operating weekly passenger flights on Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route on Sunday and Islamabad-Chengdu-Islamabad route on Wednesday.
